FUTURE BUILDERS
LEADERSHIP TEAM
Congratulations! You have decided to
apply to the Future Builders Leadership
Team—a team consisting of a committed group of Future Builders whose primary
roles include:
1. Leading the
way for your fellow Future Builders
2.
Helping
BRIDGES staff plan activities and events
3.
Being your
school’s primary liaison to school leaders and BRIDGES leaders
4.
Playing a
critical role in expanding Future Builders within our community
Members of the Leadership Team must
be committed to the Future Builders program and must have supportive
parents/guardians who also fully believe in the mission of BRIDGES and Future
Builders. Students must have
participated in at least 1 Future Builder event in the past. Chosen
students will receive special leadership training, discounted fees and other benefits because of their personal commitment to fulfill the roles and
responsibilities of their leadership team position.
Responsibilities
of Leadership Team members include, but are not limited to:
1.
Attending at
least 8 of the 11 Future Builder events for the 2008-2009 year (see event
calendar in attached parent letter)
2. Attending
monthly meetings at the BRIDGES Center to plan the next month’s activity/event
3.
Assisting
your school counselor and Mollie (Future Builders Program Coordinator) to
disseminate information to other students
4.
Volunteering
at a variety of BRIDGES community events throughout the year
